About

What I believe:
Think with dimension. Create with invention. Live with intention.
Not just WHAT but WHY.
The best things you can wear are hope, love, and authenticity.
Who I am:
Hi there! I’m Alexandra, a creative and strategic professional with 7 years of experience delivering trend research and content solutions for corporate and agency clients, from Nordstrom, to Amazon, and Fashion Snoops. I also bring 10 years of client relationship experience to the table.
My education at SCAD and diverse industry experience thus far has led me to discover that purpose is essential to creating successful outcomes.
It’s not only the what, but the WHY behind a brand, a design, or content that creates that spark, from an idea to the hands or eyes of a customer. I have an intrinsic desire to connect the dots in the data to ensure meaningful, market-right products and inspiring stories are shared with brands to be discovered by customers.
Relationships are deeply important to me; I believe that business is better when people are valued in every interaction, at every touch point. As Brené Brown (my favorite leadership resource) says, “I’m not here to be right. I’m here to get it right.” I may work in industries that are focused on aesthetics, but I believe the best things you can wear are hope, love, and authenticity. From these principles, incredible projects and products that bring joy and provide value are born.
What I’ve done:
I’ve had several vantage points from which to understand and interact with retail brands in the fashion, beauty, home, and CPG industries.
As a { Trend Forecaster for Nordstrom }, I researched market and product trends for the luxury retail sector to assist our brands in understanding shifts in consumer interests, behaviors, and aesthetics. I lead key deliverables end-to-end as a Project Manager. Our trend decks assisted our clients, designers and buyers, in making data-informed inventory decisions, ensuring Nordstrom would acquire and create the right products, at the right time.
As a { Product Expert at Amazon Fashion }, I developed personalized retail experiences for 3000+ Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe customers. Using product knowledge, trend research, and data analysis, I bridged the gap between big tech and the intimate experience of shopping for clothing. By distilling product performance trends, I identified areas of growth to fulfill client needs and maximize profitability for our growing program. As a Training Ambassador, I assisted new hires with onboarding and lead educational training sessions to develop skills in areas of expertise, such as color theory and palette building.
I’m currently a { Project + Event Manager and Editor for the platform FUTURE LYNN }. Through published articles on emerging industry trends, style, sustainability, and beauty, I share compassionate solutions from lived-experience and retail expertise. I also manage brand strategy projects end-to-end with the Founder, coordinate events, and foster relationships with clients as the company’s main point of contact. One of our latest events was for CLE Cosmetics in San Francisco!
I’m also a { Trend Strategist at Fashion Snoops } supporting the home interiors + lifestyle and women’s apparel + intimates team VPs by researching retail and design trends, curating imagery, designing concepts, and writing copy to create comprehensive trend decks that inform clients on where the industry is headed next.
Where I’m going:
For my next role, I’m looking to combine my diverse experiences across trend research, concept development, data analysis, retail strategy, and client relationships in a position similar to:
- Senior Trend Forecaster / Researcher / Analyst
- Project Manager
- Concept Designer
- Strategist
- Writer / Editor
- Event Coordinator
Thank you for your interest and I look forward to connecting with you!
With gratitude,
Alexandra
